Abstract

The discovery of the unique "painted soil" during the seventh campaign of archaeological excavations at the Neolithic settlement of Tell Halula involved the planning of a conservation project structured in two phases. The first had as objective the extraction of the block from the pictorial set and the second a transfer to a new support.
