Abstract
It is about making a first approach to the problem of the conversation of the inscultures of the Bronze Age characteristic of the Galician region. The study focuses on the municipality of Campo Lameiro (Pontevedra), having a large concentration of petroglyphs and having exhaustive previous studies.
In the first part there is a brief explanation about the petroglyphs, their meaning and chronology. The current state of conservation and the causes of degradation of the Campo Lameiro inscultures are immediately exposed. The degradation processes that we study are divided into four groups, according to their nature: mechanical, chemical, biological, and anthropic.
Finally, an attempt will be made to propose the possible ways of solving each of the problems listed above.
