Abstract
This article shows in detail how a karibari is made, a traditional Japanese panel of Chinese origin, originally used as a support for large rolls and which has finally become the most widely used assembly system in the East. . It is traditionally used as a method of drying paper and silk substrates under tension. Western restaurateurs have discovered its enormous potential as a system for stretching and smoothing all kinds of paper documents.
