Abstract
On the completion of its first centenary and hand in hand with the revolution generated by
the advent of the digital age, infrared photography seems to experience
a renewed momentum. This article briefly discusses some of the events
fundamental techniques in the development of photographic emulsions sen
sible to infrared radiation.
