The School of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Assets publish the PÁTINA journal since 1985.

It's a nonprofit publication done it with thanks to the selfless effort from our school's faculty.

Dozens of the regular publications which are published in our country, finds their origin in the need of cover a gap in our language's bibliography, besides contributing to (through the exchange with other cultural institutions) the enrichment of the fund from the ESCRBC Library. The come about time, the quality of their articles and the careful printout made a mandatory reference out of it in the professional and educational world.

Since n°17-18(2015), this journal its publish only in digital form.

PÁTINA address topics related to the study of Cultural Assets in a more broad way, although and in its logical sense, it has an special sensitivity towards to the topics related to Conservation and Restoration
