Abstract
The article includes the process of conservation of the gouache "Oración en el Huerto", carried out in the premises of the Institute of Spanish Historical Heritage. Anonymous work from the 16th century, 162 x 158 cm. Made in glue tempera on linen cloth. The treatment consisted of the suppression of the previous interventions, surface cleaning, elimination of deformations, study of the texture of the fabric, dyeing of the new support and the silk threads, and the method of joining between the original and the reinforcing support.
