Abstract
In this paper we present the characteristics of multiple functional packaging: storage, transport and exhibition, which we design and execute within the framework of a global Restoration and Conservation Project of the collection of works by Hermógenes Cayo, santero and telero jujeño. from the Argentine Puna. This collection is one of the most important of the national popular culture.
We present here the selection of the materials we use, the criteria we adopt, the characteristics of the coatings, the temperature and humidity regulation system and the particularities of the design of the boxes. We consider this stage to be fundamental in the process of conservation of the pieces in this collection, since the survival of these works will largely depend on it.
