Abstract
It is known by the term "laña", a metal staple traditionally used to prevent the progression of a crack in a container or for the gathering of fragments of ceramic objects. With origins in the Bronze Age, the various techniques used can be traced, of which only the orifice evidence sometimes remains. Considering them as sewing systems, several classes are differentiated: sewing with organic materials (textiles, etc ...), with metal staple, metal clamps and finally the strict flange. Putties or filling and sealing materials for cracks and joints are also mentioned, as well as the adhesives used by different professionals, generally on the road.
