Abstract
The angelic series of the church of San Bartolomé de Tartanedo (Guadalajara), is possibly the only complete series of twelve viceregal angels, with Marian symbols, known in Latin America, so its dissemination and enhancement constitutes an event of singular importance for the investigation and conservation of the historical patrimony. The article briefly reviews the history of angelic angelology and iconography, describes the angelic series known in the Spanish-American sphere, and reports on the restoration carried out in the angels of Tartanedo.
