Abstract
The article gives a brief review of some of the elementary concepts of the
technical dition of mural painting. Try to clarify some ideas about which
there is still not enough consensus; at the same time try to fix some terms
mines commonly used when talking about the pictorial techniques used in
by the muralists of the Middle Ages
