Abstract
This paper deals with the policies of preventive conservation and restoration of the historical heritage of the Instituto del Cardenal Cisneros in Madrid, briefly analyzing the composition of its heritage furnishings and placing it in the context of the history of this institution, and by extension, in the history of secondary education in our country, it also justifies the value of the didactic and scientific materials selected for their restoration, influencing their merit as supports for the different pedagogical discourses, and, finally, the advantages of the inter-institutional collaboration of the educational centers and the administration of the Community of Madrid
