Abstract
It is a sculptural piece belonging to the main altarpiece that García de Arredondo hired in 1590 to go to the parish church of Pedrosa del Páramo (Burgos) and whose architectural trace corresponds to the last Burgos renaissance.
The profusion of high reliefs and bulky images reflect the eclectic art, strongly impregnated with Romanist mannerism, that characterizes the sculptural work of García de Arredondo.
